A breakaway group of PKMS led by Ibrahim Ariff, it was likewise a Malay-based party and positioned itself as a pro-Malay concerns group. Whether SNF named itself after Malaysia's National Front is unknown. Before the 2011 General Election, it joined SDA briefly, where its erstwhile hinterland PKMS was also a component, before departing. In 2015, new chief Abdul Karim Abdul Sattar attended an opposition meeting but declared SNF would not contest that year's GE. |
